Gallup: Liberalism is a Mental Disorder

This has been said often enough by the frequently controversial Michael Savage, but it's pretty funny to see a group as reputable* as Gallup finding support for that statement: (h/t The Bashman)

Mental certainty.

* "Liars, damned liars, and statistics." Oh yeah, and polling groups. I'm not taking these results seriously, folks!

Side note: You'll be amused to read Savage's lawsuit against the Council on American-(terrorist) Relations, filed earlier today. (h/t Jason Kenney)

There's more than one way to skin a cat. Or a skater, as the case may be:

Supremely Cool Traffic

Now this is definitely the kind of reader that any blog would be happy with, even if it isn't one of the Right Honourable gentlemen:

Talk about a tough crowd!

Hopefully, I didn't offend anyone's sensibilities... ;-)

We Support Our Thugs

Quite a touching display, courtesy the "moderate" Fatah party.

Update: Wow... are my eyes deceiving me? It looks to me like the following photo is of an admitted Al-Aqsa weapon leaning against the wall—A U.S.-made M-16 rifle?! Apparently, arming terrorists is now a de-facto role of the United States State Department.

(And to think that I can distinctly recall hearing warnings about that particular weapons transfer.... But hey, we're not the only ones doing it, so whatever. If Israel's cool with Olmert leading them to national suicide, what the heck can I do about it?)

Update: Bob Owens doesn't think it's such a big deal, and I reckon I understand his approach—It just irritates me to no end whenever I see American weaponry in the hands of people who get their thrills out of the murder of innocents:

Brian,

M-16s have been around for 40 years, and we've been giving them or selling to friendly governments probably most of that time. I've seen U.S. weapons in terrorist hands before, and don't think it is that big of a deal, unless we are directly arming them now.

FYI: The scope appears to be an older generation 1 night vison scope.

Rage Boy Watch: Srinagar 30-Nov-2007

The All-Parties Hurriyat Conference, party of Rage Boy, seems to have hosted a "pro-freedom" protest over in Srinagar today. Will our eternally-enraged friend make an appearance? Only time will tell...

A supporter of hardliner fraction All Parties Hurriyat Conference shouts pro-freedom slogans during a demonstration outside a mosque after Friday prayers, in Srinagar, India, Friday, Nov. 30, 2007. The activists alleged human rights violations by Indian security forces in Indian portion of Kashmir. (AP Photo/ Dar Yasin)

Update: Negatory. While we've seen some very familiar faces in the group, it would appear that Rage Boy was a no-show for this protest. Or if he was there, he was ignored by the reporters. (It's interesting to see the AFP step back and show us a glimpse of some of the other photographers present for this event. Are they finally heeding Christopher Hitchens' advice?)

A Litany of Endless Demands

Hamas once again manipulates the entire population of the Gaza Strip into yet another photogenic mass rally "demanding" yet again that Israel ignore all of the crimes Hamas has committed against it and end the (rather gentle) embargo (more, more) against the terrorist entity.

The key has a very specific meaning, by the way. Also note that today's Friday, the Islamic day of prayer, so it's not like Hamas had to work very hard to get these loyal citizens out of their already-quite-mob-inciting mosques.

Update: Is this yet another anti-Annapolis protest? Some of the captions coming in indicate that this is the case, making this roughly Day 4 of Annapolis rage. Continue reading »

Nothing but Total Conquest

It's good to see the Associated Press acknowledge that the map in this picture encompasses the entire Israeli nation, though I do think that they're still missing the point by a wide margin.

A Palestinian protester takes cover behind a homemade map of the territory that now makes up Israel, the West Bank and Gaza Strip made out of tear gas canisters and bullet casings at a demonstration at the construction site of a section of Israel's separation barrier in the West Bank village of Bilin, near Ramallah, Friday, Nov. 30, 2007. Israel says the barrier is necessary for security while Palestinians call it a land grab. (AP Photo/Kevin Frayer)

Happy Friday, Y'all!

Here's a low-budget blast from the past, courtesy Break.com user bbivey. I spent the first minute or so of this video trying to figure out whose grandmother was getting in the limousine—and the rest trying to spot all of the mullets.

Ah, the good old days!

Update: Here's everything you've ever wanted to know about Jan Terri.

Update x2: Bonus! It only gets better from here:

Get down, you silly goblins! Ms. Terri, I'm truly in awe.

Hollywood Ruins Another One

"Knight Rider" was my absolute favourite show as a kid. And now, it seems like it's going to be on the air once more. Too bad it's going to be ruined by politically-correct tripe this time around.

How low can you go?

Double Standards, 007-Style

When I read recently that MI5 was allowing certain types of agents to grant interviews with media groups in an effort to bolster their certain type of agent recruiting program—for the first time in its history, no less—I never would have expected that this is what would've become of it.

Then again, perhaps I expected precisely this.

Good to see that the English government has its priorities in order.

It's Planting Season, indeed...

From the brilliant Bryan Preston over at Hot Air:

Ah, this video is from the Democratic debate a while back. It's still new to me, so hopefully there are a couple of you out there that haven't seen it, too. I hope Hot Air puts together a similar feature for last night's little shindig.

Update: CNN is truly a joke. I personally don't have any problem with seeding the Democratic party's debate with Democratic staffers, as the whole point of these intra-party debates is to debate in front of your base.

What I don't understand is why CNN would think that it's acceptable use Democratic activists in the Republican debate... I mean, I don't exactly recall seeing any Republican activists during the DNC debate—do you?

'Course, I do remember some sort of brouhaha over Fox News hosting a debate that's sounding remarkably similar to this. Which one was it that was the party of crybabies again?

Oh yeah... That one.

Extreme Irony

It would appear that the Hezbollah-supporting students of Lebanon are sorely lacking a supreme sense of irony as well. Notice what the text on their banners says, and then compare it to how their cowardly hero behaves—particularly with respect to "guns:"

Lebanese University students and Hezbollah supporters, hold banners that read in Arabic: 'Your delegation, Saniora, doesn't represent us' and 'The fate of nations is decided with guns' as they protest against the Annapolis conference, in the southern city of Sidon, Lebanon Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007. Lebanon moved closer to a deal for army chief Gen. Michel Suleiman to become the next president in the first signs of a breakthrough between its divided factions, after the Annapolis conference eased tensions between their main backers, the United States and Syria. The Art of Copying Each Other

Whenever I see situations like this, I just have to wonder: If we have photojournalists putting out such obvious duplicates as this from the Palestinian territories—Why do we bother sending any photographers there at all? I think the fact that this "clustering" of photojournalists happens so often is certainly indicative of us having—at the very least—a few too many stationed there.

Shifting Targets

Yesterday:

A wounded Palestinian policeman loyal to Hamas movement is carried after an Israeli missile targeted their position in the southern Gaza Strip November 28, 2007. Israeli missiles that struck a Hamas security position in the southern Gaza Strip killed two Hamas naval police officers on Wednesday, Hamas and Palestinian medical workers said. Today:

Gee, what ever happened to all of that business about Israel hitting a "police position?"

And thus, the crocodile tears flowed immediately forth.

Update: Aha, that explains it!
