Here Our Cry Obama!

And you thought we were making up the Obamassiah thing.

"Deliver us Obama!"

It was not the people on the right that started this. It was those toe-kissing weak-knee'd liberals that went all squirmy between the knees just thinking about the chance to vote for Obama. No matter what he believed in. No matter what his plan to destroy the country. No matter what his background. They just wanted to vote for some black man that talked clearly.

And, this video was from 2008 as well. They have not given up on their messiah-worship of him yet. They will do anything for him. For his attention. For his glance.

When you deify a man, you blaspheme GOD. These idolatrous "religious" leaders are damned.

I Take It Back: He's Still A Dem *Updated*

I praised Congressman Alan Grayson a while back for his stand against government waste and corruption. But, we must all remember that he is still in fact, a DEMOCRAT Congressman from Florida.

The other day, on the floor of the House he got up to make a speech against the Republican Party.

Can you say vile, despicable, reprehensible, indecent of a Congressman, etc, etc?

How is this any different than saying someone lies? This IS an outright lie and slander to boot.

You know Congressman, maybe some people feel that it is NOT the business of the government to dictate health care in this country to individual citizens. Maybe they feel that it is a GOOD thing that people are allowed to make their own health decisions and are allowed to be responsible for when they get sick.

Sir, I hope the Socialists in this nation, like you, take option 3.

[Update] It would seem that he wasn't done speaking. He even spoke outside the House. Breitbart.tv has it in great video form. Money quote:

"Several Republicans asked me to apologize. Well, I would like to apologize. I would like to apologize to the dead!
...
I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven't voted sooner to end this holocaust in America. I yield the rest of my time."

He claims to have a report that states that over 44,000 American ADULTS die every year because they have no health insurance.

BULL-PLOPS!!!!!!

Saturn Corporation: 1985-2009

I'm debating turning the whole site black in mourning. Where in the world am I supposed to get cars from now?

Consumer Alert: Trampolines Unsafe in Pennsylvania

With thanks to Infidel Bloggers Alliance for bringing us the key points of this story (yuk yuk).

Journalism 101, or Fear and Loathing in a Newsroom Near You!

Whoa. Just whoa.

Robert Stacy McCain got annoyed at how the media, along with a certain high-profile (and most pompous) blogger, was treating the suspicious death of a census worker in Kentucky. What makes him unique, however, is that instead of sitting behind his keyboard, bloviating about the injustice of it all, he actually went to Kentucky to get the story!

As a typically-lazy blogger myself (Hey! I do this in my spare time!), I am ashamed to say that I've never even come close to covering a story like this. And while I haven't been linking it yet, as I've been waiting for his big moment, I think it's gotten to the point where the story surrounding the story is just as interesting. Thusly, I present:

Part 1: Me, Moe Lane, and Malkin versus the MSM
Part 2: Kentucky-bound
Part 3: Live from Kentucky!
Part 4: Question: Who Commits Crimes?
Part 5: Killing Ground in Clay County: The Mystery on Hoskins Cemetery Road
Part 6: Kelsee Brown is not—repeat, is not—a right-wing extremist
Part 7: Kentucky's Morgan Bowling vs. New York Idiot

And plenty more to come!

Not bad for a man with no professional budget. Which reminds me:—Be sure to send RSM a buck or two, if you can. His style of journalism is exactly what journalism is supposed to be about.

And it's a whole heckuva lot better than hunting for the imaginary nazis that lurk around every corner, right Charles?

82-Year-Old Oklahoma Woman Arrested For Supplementing Her Retirement Pay

Hey, don't shoot the messenger! Technically, running a drug-dealing operation does count as "supplementing," doesn't it?

The largest drug bust in the history of the city of Enid took place Tuesday.

Oklahoma Drug Bureau spokesman Mark Woodward says dealers from one of the biggest operations were allegedly hiding their money in the home of Nadine Johnson...

He says she knew exactly what was going on...

"She was 82 years old and they called her "Granny". Pretty much a large group of individuals selling drugs all knew about this in her house... including Enid police who had been there many times serving arrest warrants... They were known to stash drugs in the house... money in the house..." Woodward said Tuesday evening.

Yet another victim of the Evil Republican Machine, no doubt!

The Media-Terrorist Complex Rises Again

"Masked Southern populists, in the armed wing of the Democratic Party, speak to the press during a press conference....?"

Believe it or not, one of these two photographs is real.

Masked Palestinian Hamas militants speak to the press during a press conference in Gaza City, Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009. Israel and Hamas militants announced a deal Wednesday that will see Israel release 20 Palestinian women from prison this week in exchange for a videotape proving that a captive Israeli soldier held in the Gaza Strip is still alive. The decision was the first tangible sign of movement in more than three years of talks over the release of the soldier, Sgt. Gilad Schalit, who has not been seen since he was captured by Hamas-linked militants in a cross-border raid in June 2006. (AP Photo/Hatem Moussa)

For the first time in a while, the press has decided that it's safe to run glamor shots from a Hamas press conference again. Those of you who are new to this site might not remember, but Snapped Shot was involved in loudly protesting such thug conferences back in the day, which I believe had led to these photos being barred from the newswires.

Until now, that is.

So, again I raise the same questions as before to the morally-challenged members of the press who allow this to continue: Continue reading »

Driving Mr. Duncey

I'd much rather see either of these gentlemen standing in front of a moving car.

Speechless

Or, is this the new anti-flu regime?

And things only get worse from there.

Much .. much worse. (Yeah, doesn't he just look happy)

Gov't: You Have A Right To Buy That Gun - We Have A Right To Take It Back

... now that we know who you are, where you live, and that you own a gun.

Whoever said that gun registration could lead to gun confiscation?

Who was it that USED IT? Yeah, I bet you think I will do the obligatory point to Hitler and the Nazi gun-confiscation actions.

GOTCHA. I'm actually going to point to the liberal's love-nest. Toronto.

I like the quote from the Police Chief:
Targeting people who had registered their guns is a preventative measure, said Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair.

Preventative of what? What does taking legally purchased guns from law-abiding people prevent?

Not like this could ever happen in America - the land of the 2nd Amendment. Right? RIGHT?!?!?

Not even in a very liberal city like New Orleans.

Maybe if they would focus their efforts on those who have illegal weapons and give them something to turn those guns in, they might actually get on the people's good sides.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

I'll open by saying that I certainly hope for their safe return—but seriously: Have we really become so depraved as a nation that this doesn't raise any red flags out there?

MOORESVILLE, NC (WBTV) - Authorities across the country are on the look out for two Iredell County girls -- including one who is 9-months pregnant -- who disappeared with their step-father last week.

Janette Hess says her 12-year-old pregnant daughter Keara and 11-year-old Sierra, vanished with their stepfather, Matthew Hess, on Thursday, Sept. 24.

...

Keara has never indicated that her stepfather was the father of the child. They think the father is a young person Keara's age. The mother told authorities her daughter named a young person as the father.

Keara got pregnant when she, her sister and Matthew Hess lived in Lincoln County. At the time, Matthew and Janette Hess were separated.

I am literally speechless.

WHOA: Poor, Disadvantaged NPR Exec Made 1.4 Million

Over 4 years. Which equates to a paltry three hundred twenty nine thousand dollars a year:

Former NPR C.E.O. Kenneth Stern, who departed in 2008, is atop the pubcasting list, receiving $1,319,541 as part of his four-year contract. Another former exec, PBS C.O.O. Wayne Godwin, who served from 2000 to 2008, was paid $398,063. Current PBS C.E.O. Paula Kerger, $534,500, up from $424,209 at end of fiscal 2007.

Who could've possibly guessed that there was so much money in not-for-profit work?

Public Option: Back Under The Bus!

Reuters makes my day better for a change:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday easily rejected the inclusion of a government-run "public" insurance option, backed by President Barack Obama, in its sweeping healthcare reform bill.

Whether or not this move is yet another series of smoke and mirrors remains to be seen.

On a related note, to all of you lib'ruls who continue to hold Britain's healthcare system up as the ultimate reference model: You ought to be absolutely delighted to know that NHS ranks right up there with Slovenia and the Czech Republic in terms of quality-of-care.

The NHS came 14th out of 33 European countries, making it one of the worst systems in Western Europe.

If that's not an endorsement par supreme, what is?
