Maybe Now, They'll Show the Daggum Weather

NBC has apparently closed the deal in purchasing the Weather Channel.

As I've said in the past, TWC used to always be my go-to destination for, you know, the "Weather" and stuff. However, lately, the network has gone more towards "entertainment" programming (i.e., a steaming pot full of shows that would make Al Gore blush), and less of the actual, you know, "Weather."

Will NBC play it smart and return the network to its roots?

Heh. NBC. Smart.

As if.
