US: Israel's Existence Undermines America's Interests

Say it isn't so! America throwing Israel under the bus?!

JERUSALEM — The United States has rejected an Israeli arms request that would have improved Israel's capability to attack Iran's nuclear facilities, a frontpage report in Israel's Haaretz newspaper said on Wednesday.

The U.S. warned Israel against attacking, saying such a strike would undermine American interests, the paper said.

Iran is the greatest threat to the very existence of Israel. America knows this. The world knows this. So why aren't we helping Israel eliminate this threat?

I hope to God that Israel has its intelligence nailed down and is truly on target, both literally and figuratively.

Israel cannot stand by and let an existential threat go unanswered; at the same time, if it doesn't go well, all hell will break loose which could engulf...well, the Gulf, and so much more.

I don't know what is truly the best course.
