How Far They Have Fallen

What arrogance. What elitism. How long-nosed. How far, we as a country, have fallen when our media, which reflects a good portion of our populace, cringes when a politician and president prays to, cites, and seeks praises from GOD? Recall, as you will see in the video, it was not that long ago when our presidents prayed to GOD on our behalf as citizens and as a country.

As a country, we were powerful then. Now that we are turning a crass eye to anyone that mentions the G word, our country does not seem to be doing so hot. Yes, this is my belief. Others may hold differing opinions. But that is ok. But, you must agree that our country's attitude toward those in office expressing a belief in GOD has changed. And in my opinion, a change to the worse.

For my two cents, Charlie Gibson, should never be given or be allowed to have an interview with any GOD-fearing person ever again. Unless it is to completely squash his world view that he is king-maker. This man and his ilk are hacks. They pretend to be unbiased reporters but all they are are just Geraldo Rivera wannabes. Heck, he wouldn't even qualify for a spot on the Current Affair in my opinion.
