Healthcare: See How Your Government Cares

An enterprising doctor in New York ("Overburdened") State has come up with an enterprising way of serving patients who lack health care insurance for a low $79 monthly fee:

Dr. John Muney offers his patients everything from mammograms to mole removal at his AMG Medical Group clinics, which operate in all five boroughs.

"I'm trying to help uninsured people here," he said.

His patients agree to pay $79 a month for a year in return for unlimited office visits with a $10 co-pay.

Naturally, the State that Seeks To Have No Doctors Left Within Its Borders couldn't stand this at all, and has responded to this unparalleled outrage:

But his plan landed him in the crosshairs of the state Insurance Department, which ordered him to drop his fixed-rate plan - which it claims is equivalent to an insurance policy.

Yet more proof, as if we needed any, that "Government Healthcare" has never been about providing healthcare to the "underprivileged."

It would seem that our rulers have, instead, decided that they need yet another issue to rule us with.

Which is ironic, since we were theoretically founded as a nation in which there are no "rulers" higher than The People.

(Many thanks to Evil Conservative Radio, who should be on every radio dial across the land.)

*""How can the state dictate you've got to charge more?"

Welcome to the world of reduced costs and going after insurance companies to lower your healthcare costs.

(cough, cough)

Hey, how about allowing a-la-carte packages?? I don't think, as a man, that I need mastectomy, pregnancy, or breast cancer screening.

Should I really need to pay $500 per month for "insurance" even though I am a fairly healthy male? Or, does that pay for all the high risk people out there?

*Nope, no legalese here. Just a pure desire to help the little guy.
