"Rightwing Radical" Protests

Today is the day! Tea Parties around the country!

I went to the Fayetteville, NC Party. Below are a few pictures from the event here.

A very fitting historical marker on the corner where we were having our Tea Party.

One of those dangerous "radicals" Obama's Department of Homeland Security is warning may commit an act terrorism.


Here's another one. I had Mom's permission for the picture, but the little guy just wouldn't cooperate. He kept twisting away from the camera.


"Rightwing Extremists" in the making.


There was a good sized crowd for my area. I was about midway in the audience. I don't think the local media was very impressed. They left about 10 minutes into the party.


The media left too early to catch this speaker. This lady was on fire! She gave B. Hussein a thrashing...


...and she had a message for Michelle Obama: "I have ALWAYS been proud to be an American."


Heh! 'No Left Turn.' We can hope.


The rest of the pictures are of various signs. In all, it was quite a day. A majority of the people I saw were military veterans (or 'Rightwing Radicals' as they were proud to call themselves) but there were also many young people participating. I wish we had had a bigger crowd, but those who showed were filled with the American spirit. And I was happy to be there among them.
