NYTimes Pulls Photoshopped Photos

I just found out from Rhonda Shearer from Art Science Research Laboratories (and saw it earlier at A Photo Editor's pad) that the New York Times has quietly removed some photos from one of their online features that many online are calling fake.

I dunno about you, but it certainly looks questionable to me. I don't think modern builders would know what symmetry looked like if it hit them on the head.

UPDATE: 07/08/09 3:55pm EST: Just got a comment from the NY Times Magazine's office: (Re fakery? ) "We are going to run an editor's note in an upcoming issue."
