8 Years Later

I remember the horror of what happened 8 years ago today. Sitting in a quiet office in Alexandria, and suddenly having my entire world turned upside down. Hearing the horrendous "boom" when Flight 77 hit the Pentagon, and then seeing the column of smoke pouring into the air. Fretting over friends and family that I knew were in that building at that very moment.

It's an abject act of war that we as a nation should never forget.
