Save Money - Go To Jail
Yep. That's the ruling that has recently been made over the regulations in the ObamaCare bill.
Seriously? Jail time for wanting to save money because you yourself have deemed yourself healthy enough to not want to spend your hard-earned money on useless "health" insurance?
Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) received a handwritten note Thursday from Joint Committee on Taxation Chief of Staff Tom Barthold confirming the penalty for failing to pay the up to $1,900 fee for not buying health insurance.
Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor and could face up to a year in jail or a $25,000 penalty, Barthold wrote on JCT letterhead. He signed it "Sincerely, Thomas A. Barthold."

First, it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL for any government to mandate that you BUY something to protect yourself from misery.
Second, I believe that it is ILLEGAL for the government to incarcerate people who willingly refuse to buy a health insurance plan that they inherently disbelieve in.
Third, I also believe that it is ILLEGAL for the government, especially ours that was once based on the US Constitution, to set a level of heath-care coverage for any individual citizen.
It is not the business of any form of government, or its elected ruling elite, to tell me how to live my life.
That was one of the reasons that people wanted to separate from the King of England and seek a land of their own.
Government: Here to protect you. (despite our wishes and despite our desires to be free)
[Update 1] Whatever happened to the leftist ideology of being .. PRO-CHOICE?!!?
[Update 2] Seems Ace, once again, all over this. With much more to add.
Translated into plain English, it means that in any year in which a particular doctor's average per-patient Medicare costs are in the top 10 percent in the nation, the feds will cut the doctor's payments by 5 percent.
Yeah, that will lead to your doctor working hard and putting in that extra mile for your.. health.
Or NOT!
