Holy cow, you leave the blog for one week, and the whole world goes bonkers!
Thanks to interest in a small story I wrote two Thursdays ago, this blog has experienced an historic amount of traffic. Specifically, thanks to sir Christopher Hutchins and lady Michelle Malkin (may I some day be able to capitalize those titles), along with a brief stint on the Digg frontpage (and even Balatarin, much to my amusement) we've received over 70,000 visitors in the past 6 days!
Needless to say, I'm still in shock at the recent excitement over Islamic Rage Boy, and am very glad to see that y'all have been keeping busy in pumping out Rage Boy parodies! I must admit, I'm a bit overwhelmed—I'm still sorting through my inbox, which seems to have a bazillion messages in it over the past week. I hope to get un-buried and get all of your entries catalogued as soon as I can. Thank you all very much for your contributions! I love all of the ones I've seen so far, and look forward to checking out the rest of your contributions shortly!

The Salty Language of Sailors
Those last two pictures are from the ferry system which connects Hatteras and Ocracoke. We've been trying to make it out to Ocracoke for three years now, and between the hurricanes and the two-hour wait for the ferry, we've never been able to make it until now. You want to know the secret to catching the ferry? Leave early. Ugh.
Why is it called the Hell Hole, anyway...?
Oh.
The above "hell hole for fish" is also known as Hatteras Harbor, a marina whose captains seem to run a very tight ship, if you'll pardon the pun.
