With a big hat-tip to Digger who found this over at This Is London, comes this little head-scratchng befuddlement that only those crazy fun-filled frolicking Muslims can create.

The Scottish police recently sent out postcards announcing a new Non-Emergency phone number people can call. They highlight this postcard with an eye catching little puppy (i think it is a Scottish Terrier puppy. See the linkage there?) Well, our friend of the Eternally Pissed Off Religion of Peace, for some reason, got all upset.

See if you can figure out why?


Digger puts this very succinctly:

When is the ridiculousness ever going to end when it comes to extremist Muslims? Not until communities start standing up and saying "Enough is enough", I say.

As long as people like the Scottish police keep apologizing to these "Muslims", who no doubt are snickering in the corner as they manipulate these weak-spined "leaders" at will, they will continue to bring forth these ridiculous charges of "intolerance".

And yes the Scottish police did apologize... *shakes head*

I agree whole-heartedly with Digger (typical), this is why the UK is currently dying from within. They are weak, spineless and have totally succumbed to the liberal elitist socialistic policies. Why on earth would Scotland apologize for showing a puppy (of what I can only assume is a Scottish Terrier) on a postcard? Isn't this a slap at their national pride? Can I dare say that this would be similar to us apologizing for putting Uncle Sam on a flier because the minorities feel it is a racist symbol of America? You wait. It is coming.

Bugger off if you can't handle it !!!

Ezra Levant responds to the recent Canadian Human Rights Commission's decision not to pursue Maclean's and Mark Steyn for an anti-Islamic article:

The Canadian Human Rights Commission, like any petty tyranny, has a strong instinct for survival. As I predicted last week on the Michael Coren Show, that instinct would cause them to drop the complaint against Mark Steyn and Maclean's. And so they did.

With an RCMP investigation, a Privacy Commission investigation and a pending Parliamentary investigation, they're already fighting a multi-front P.R. war, and losing badly. Not a day goes by when the CHRC isn't pummelled in the media. Holding a show trial of Maclean's and Steyn, like the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal did earlier this month, would be writing their own political death sentence.

So they blinked. Against everything in their DNA, they let Maclean's go.

Score one for common sense and reasoning.

With a big Hat-Tip to Little Green Footballs, comes this find from down south in Louisiana. It would seem that the Democrat party, in its attempts to get people registered to vote (democraticly), have hired their bestest of buddies. They hired an activist group from up North that had ties to some other very interesting groups.

First, comes the news of what they did...

Secretary of State Jay Dardenne said Tuesday he will meet today with a Democrat-affiliated group responsible for a voter registration effort that is inundating East Baton Rouge and other parish registrars with bogus and incomplete applications.

VIP is a Washington, D.C., group hired by national Democrats to register some 70,000 new voters in advance of the presidential and other federal elections this fall.

Dardenne said cards are being submitted for people already on the voter rolls and “a significant percentage are being submitted without necessary information to register someone and “blatantly false information.

Two cards received in Caddo Parish had George W. Bush as the voter applicant with a 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. address in Shreveport, Dardenne said. Other cards have been filed for prisoners who cannot vote and dead people. In Jefferson Parish, a voter registration card was filed for the registrar of voters.

LGF did the footwork that the reporter should have done and found this information about who the group calling themselves VIP actually is.

Why can't we have politicians like this in America?

After 138 days in prison without a charge, blogger Fouad Alfarhan has been freed. From Saudi Jeans blog:

I woke up around 5:30 this morning on the beeping of my iPhone which received a short message from the wife of my friend and fellow blogger Fouad al-Farhan telling me that Fouad has been released and that he is back home with his family now. That’s great news and this is just how I wanted to start my morning!

He was imprisoned for critical writings about Saudi Arabia:

Fouad Al-Farhan remains in detention for refusing to apologize for his writings critical of corruption and lack of freedom Saudi Arabia, where he hopes meaningful reform will enable his children have a better life.
