Ace: Did you forget that she is just misdirecting? She makes people believe that this will save money by adding a tax so that the producers don't have to raise their prices in order to pay for their employee benefits.

How does this make any sense except to a liberal dunderhead.

How will products be cheaper if you take off benefits cost for producers but then increase their TAXES on each stage of a products life?

If a car costs $10,000 for a consumer, it might be cheaper if the automaker does not have to add the costs of employee benefits. But, if you then turn around and charge a Value Added Tax on each stage of a car's components creation, so that in the end each individual component sees multiple taxation points, then the price of that car will actually INCREASE for consumers.

Once again, this is a blatant and obvious attempt to quash capitalism and profit and the lifestyles that Americans have known and grown to love. Pure anti-American ideology at work.

Isn't that pretty much the mantra that we heard from the left attacking Pres Bush when he was presiding over the war on terror? Except then it was "He lied and [somebody] died".

Now our soldiers are under Pres Obama's watch and their lives are in his hands.

And with our soldiers and their leaders currently asking for more support from Pres Obama, what does he decide to do? How does he respond to their emergency calls for aid? Continue reading »

You know, ordinarily I'd take issue with a wire service spitting an unflattering image like this out, but I think in the case of the Scottish minister of injustice, now infamous the world over for setting the Lockerbie bomber free to a cheering crowd in Libya, it's as flattering a portrayal as you can get.

Grade "A" moron.

Recall from my previous post how we, the most loved nation on this earth now that Obama has ascended, have started shipping some of the most notorious terrorists in the world to countries and islands all around the globe in the hopes of appeasing the liberals when we shut down Guantanamo.

Well, how about learning a bit more about these terrorists, and where they come from, that we have been giving free vacations and passports to?

Violent street battles killed at least 156 people and injured 828 others in the deadliest ethnic unrest to hit China's western Xinjiang region in decades, and the Chinese government blamed Uighur exiles for stoking the unrest.

Security forces have clamped down on the city of Urumqi and set up checkpoints to catch any fleeing rioters, state media reported, after tensions between ethnic Muslim Uighur people and China's Han majority erupted into riots.

Tensions between Uighurs and the majority Han Chinese are never far from the surface in Xinjiang, China's vast Central Asian buffer province, where militant Uighurs have waged a sporadic, violent separatist campaign.

Uighurs make up the largest ethnic group in Xinjiang, but not in the capital of Urumqi, which has attracted large numbers of Han Chinese migrants. The city of 2.3 million is now about overwhelmingly Chinese — a source of frustration for native Uighurs.

With a big tip of my former hat (had to sell it to pay for lunch today) to Elder at EOZ......

You know, I blame the Jews on this one. Who else would demand a expiration date on bottled water, forcing people (especially their enemies) to buy replacement bottles of water?

But then, Arabs have issues with ANYTHING Jewish anyway. Even it selling Jewish products make Arabs money. That's bad.

Meanwhile, during the high US unemployment, housing losses and increasing downturns in our economy, ....

US President Barack Obama has signed a supplemental appropriations bill, which includes $150 million in additional economic assistance to Jordan for the 2009 fiscal year, a senior official said on Sunday.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Suhair Al-Ali said the supplemental assistance is in addition to the $363 million in regular US economic assistance to Jordan for 2009, bringing the total to $513 million.

The One Pres Obammasiah (pbuh) feels the need to INCREASE funding to nations that are not necessarily our friends and have not been friendly to our ally in the region.

Is there ever going to be an end to this free-for-all tax-grab by this administration as it throws money to everyone and all over the world except to where it matters the most. The people of the US.

One would think, voting in a Socialist member of the liberal party that has promised tax relief and gas in every car, that all of this stimulus and bailout monies would actually be given to the people. One would think that the people might start to question why THEY are not seeing any of that money. Wasn't it he that promised them all of that money if he were elected? (Bribe?)

And yet, here he is hosting hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of parties each week at the White House and throwing money down MidEast drains like Jordan. All the while people here in the US are still suffering under high unemployment and a crippling "illegal" invasion. ????

He doesn't care about you, people! He just DOESN'T!!! Very few people in Congress, White House, or the Judiciary do.

I tell you what people. If you and I don't vote all of these Socialists and Liberal Republicans out of office and replace them with sound, sane and conservative thinking people, our nation will be asking for handouts from Jordan.

With all of the talk over the last few years over whether or not those in this county illegally should be given amnesty, much of the media fail to look at the true costs to American taxpayers from these illegals.

It is bad enough that congress is talking amnesty and increasing immigration during a time of high unemployment, but the sole purpose of the amnesty drive is purely vote driven. The socialists and anti-American types in Congress see the power of having all of the 12-20 million illegals voting for them and their party. They know that if they give these illegals amnesty, healthcare, retirement, welfare and social security that they will more than likely vote for them in future elections.

However, it may not be politically correct to mention the true costs of illegal entrants upon American taxpayers, but I would like to point out two things in this post. Some of you may already know this, but I learned of these things this weekend and I wanted to share them with you.

Recall that recently that I mentined that the US has lost 3 million jobs over the last 5 months? Make sure you bow down and give many thanks to Congress' and Pres Obama's vast stimulus plan, multiple bailout plans and the several direct federal refund checks for that. I mean, wasn't they who told us that without all that fake money being thrown at failing companies and paying for fat-cat CEO vacations that our economy and our nation would nearly vanish. Were we not basically led to believe that without giving bankrupt GM billions of dollars so that they can go bankrupt, that we would face utter economic devastation?

According to President One and Only, without all of that out-of-thin-air spending, our economy would be in the tanks right now. Thanks be unto him.

Well, at least he has a plan to lift us all out of Pres BUSH's (cough) morass.

DETROIT – General Motors Corp. took a key step toward its downsizing on Tuesday, striking a tentative deal to sell its Hummer brand to a Chinese manufacturer, while also revealing that it has potential buyers for its Saturn and Saab brands.

China's Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co. said Tuesday afternoon that it reached an agreement to acquire the brand from GM for an undisclosed ammount [Ed: nice iditting their].

Sichuan Tengzhong deals in road construction, plastics, resins and other industrial products, but Hummer would be its first step into the automotive business.

Welcome to the landfill business Hummer.

GM said the sale will likely save more than 3,000 U.S. jobs in manufacturing, engineering and at various Hummer dealerships.

Ummm. Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it. That will make those GM dealerships that were forced to close feel good.
