The Ghost of Snapped Shot

Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.

A Case for Revolving Doors

May the door to this particular office keep spinning forever:

Palestinian new leader of the popular resistance committee, Kamal Al-Neirab, stands in front of a poster of the late leader, Jamal Abu Samhadana, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike shortly after accepting a senior security position [ed.: Does this idiot actually think we believe this garbage?] with the Hamas government, during a press conference in Gaza City, Monday Feb. 5, 2007. Al-Neirab is the new leader of the Popular Resistance Committees, a small, violent group that holds an Israeli soldier hostage and has shifted its allegiance between Hamas and Fatah. As a side note, it seems that, based on the level of English exhibited in this caption, that the Associated Press is suffering from the same lack of effort cost-cutting measures which are currently plaguing Reuters.

Will the news agencies ever bother to clean up their own act, before dictating to we mere plebes what our act should be?
