Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.

Jihadi Student Council: Elected!

Remember our eccentric student election from Hebron University? Well hold on to your seats, because it looks like the results are in! And the winners are...

(Drumroll please)

Congratulations on your continued thuggery, ye Jihadi Council! Be sure to stay classy, y'all!

Update: Regular reader Frank B. offers some amusing feedback on this monumental (-ly predictable) election:

In viewing the linked photo of "Militant Group #2", several thoughts come to mind. The students at Hebron U seem a bit older than their American counterparts. They seem to have a very cavalier attitude about guns on campus. And an even more cavalier attitude about loosing off rounds willy-nilly into the air. If that happened in the US, how long before the campus was invaded by local, state, and federal SWAT teams in armored personal carriers?

No kidding, Frank—I'm betting that Hebron U offers a wide variety of interesting continuing-education topics on such promising subjects as:

Where do I sign up?

I don't really see much of a problem with them having a "very cavalier attitude about guns on campus," though. The ancestors of the Commonwealth of Virginia ain't exactly known as "Cavaliers" for nuthin'. ;)

Yeah, people wined and moaned here in OK when someone thought to put forth a bill to allow people with concealed weapons permits to carry on campus.

They thought that was the height of stupidity since even the cops dont carry their guns when they walk the campus. It would be too dangerous for the professors.

I would like someone to take my university to court over their rule that students are not allowed to have weapons at all on campus. Even the married student housing is off limits to guns. If they learn that you have guns in these on-the-side-of-campus apartment complexes, they will throw you out. When does a university have the right to prevent the enjoyment of 2nd Amendment?

I say we move to Hebron and become the new moral majority!! Show them locals how to use ammo in the right way. I'll bring my hollo-points. Am sure Cletus would join us with his arsenal.
