The Ghost of Snapped Shot

Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.

Gerry Connolly's Fairfax County

I'm sure it's too early to say for sure, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this rise in crime could be related to la migra from Prince William County's Rule of Law resolution:

Major crime in Fairfax County rose 6 percent in 2007 compared to 2006, according to figures released by county police. Of the seven categories of crimes used to evaluate crime statistics, all but one category, burglary, saw an increase. There were 1,580 burglaries in the county in 2006 and 1,409 robberies last year.

Violent crimes, such as murder, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, rose more than 4 percent. Property crimes increased by more than 6 percent. Crime statistics are measured by adding the final numbers of seven categories – robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, murder, car theft, larceny and rape.

No word on how Gerry Connolly plans on ignoring these latest developments.
