Happy "Death to America" Day

It would seem that Iran is celebrating the anniversary of the seizure of our Embassy today. From the looks of it, they rounded up their best and brightest to commemorate the event—an outpouring of genuinely manufactured outrage, for sure.

A school girl smiles as she stands in front of a banner during a gathering to mark the anniversary of the seizure of the U.S. embassy in Tehran November 4, 2007. Thousands of Iranians chanted "Death to America" and vowed not to yield to U.S. pressure over Iran's nuclear programme at a demonstration on Sunday marking the 28th anniversary of the seizure of the American embassy. I'll have more pictures following the break. For additional coverage, be sure to check out Kamangir.

Was Israel involved in the American Embassy hostage situation? Last I checked, the answer was still "no," but you never know what passes for the truth in autocratic regimes these days... REUTERS/Caren Firouz (IRAN)
