The Ghost of Snapped Shot

Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.

Pervasive Victimology

First, the Hamas-supporting terrorcrats of the Gaza Strip illegally cross their border into Egypt, after (illegally) demolishing it. Now, they complain that Egypt won't let them back in to Gaza?

A veiled Palestinian woman sits with her child next to her luggage while taking shelter in a mosque, El-Arish, Egypt, Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008. Hundreds of stranded Palestinians protested demanding to be granted entry visas by Egyptian authorities. The families, who came from Gaza were not allowed out of El-Arish and spent the last few days in mosques trying to get beyond the border and farther into or out of Egypt. Egypt has struggled to deal with the influx, alternately trying to stop the Palestinians and then allowing them in, before settling into a pattern of controlling the border crossings together with Hamas security men and restricting visitors to Rafah border town. When I used to put myself in situations like this, my parents used to tell me that I should've thought of it first, instead of just jumping in and getting myself in trouble.

Of course, I was five at the time.

Why is it that the Palestinians can't seem to get past acting that age? Considering that taking responsibility for one's actions is one of the ultimate signs of maturity, I'd say they have a long way to go.

The expected litany of endless demands can be found following the fold.

Always Demanded, Never Earned

It's not like the Palestinians haven't had every opportunity in the world to make something of themselves.
