The Ghost of Snapped Shot

Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.

To any of my left-leaning friends who happen to be reading the site here, I have a brief question I'd love to hear your thoughts on.

Y'all are constantly harping about how we all need to get along; to coexist, as the ever-present bumper sticker suggests.

How, then, do you propose that the West do so, if adherents of Islam express attitudes like that above?

I mean, it's obvious from wire reports of these protests that they see this as a win-versus-lose war. It is also obvious that they see us as the inevitable losers—Which means that eventually, we will be no more. Or at least, not in any state similar to the way in which we exist today.

So how do you reconcile this naïve view with reality when nobody else is around? I'd certainly love to hear it, no matter how much pie-in-the-sky it is.

The Brian of Tolerance, 2009.
