Agence France-Presse is a Party Pooper

Can you sense the disdain towards the "majority" of Israelis in this caption?

(AFPTV) - A majority of Israelis support the military intervention against Hamas in Gaza, but some voices have risen up to denounce the offensive. Duration: 01:11(AFPTV)

Just out of curiosity, has AFP ever run any captions saying that a majority of the Gaza Strip supports Hamas, but a rising contingent of the population is starting to question their rocket offensive against Israel?

Yeah, I didn't think so—Even if it is a true statement.

No, rather than reporting on the general support Israelis give the operation, they'd rather just sit around and wait until they can find a tiny handful of Israelis who agree with their editorial position (Namely: that Israel is evil), and then invent a story surrounding that.

Is this really what counts as independent newsgathering in our generation?

We're doomed.

BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT

MY BUTT!!!

You are correct Brian, there would never be a version of your second caption statement. That is because everyone knows that everyone is fully behind the terrorists. At least in the MSM eyes.

Thing is, a Jew sure must have mercy on even his worst enemy (or so "the world" reasons), but of an Arab - well, yeah, eh, somehow it's not expected, e.g., hardly ever is a Palestinian asked whether he/she feels bad for having killed Jews, also, we'd know the answer, right ...

It's one thing to fight an enemy who glorifies killing meanwhile still trying to stick to your own moral principles, it's quite another thing when "the world" still measures you along that double standard, 'cs ... well, you are a Jew and sure you're more humane and ... after all, you went thru the Holocaust so you should know better.

Not to be OT, but where was "the world" when the FIS killed, nay, butchered 200.000 fellow-Algerians during the '90's? "Ah, but that doesn't count, that's Arabs against Arabs, you know they are ..."
Hm ... either the MSM quit this double standard measuring and report objectively, or they stop sticking their nose in Israeli affairs altogether and transfer their crowd of 3,000 (!) reporters/journalists from Israel to, say, Darfur.

Oops - in prev. post, insert eh, let's pick "militant", after Palestinian.

Q: would the MSM still measure Jews to a higher moral standard, once they realised that that's actually a form of discriminating Arabs, no less?
