Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.
This is a word completely foreign to large portions of the Republican Party:
“We don't have plans to call Congress into session -- it won't make a difference if Democratic leaders are unwilling to bring up a bill for an up-down vote,” said White House spokesman Tony Fratto.
Hey dummy:—America knows
it won't make a difference. We're not asking for you to call the Congress up because we expected as much.
What such a move does
do, you genius, is help illustrate in a very bold manner
that the Democratic party is completely
bereft of ideas when it comes to solving our energy crisis. Which would be a rather handy illustration to make for the American people, considering that it's an election year and all.
But hey, why bother participating in election-year politics?
It's not like the RNC actually wants
to win this one.
