The Ghost of Snapped Shot

Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.

The Associated Press is In the Tank

My mortal enemies went through the "trouble" of fact checking Sarah Palin? Sure, if you count actively campaigning for Barack Obama as "fact-checking."

THE FACTS: Compared to McCain and his two decades in the Senate, Obama does have a more meager record. But he has worked with Republicans to pass legislation that expanded efforts to intercept illegal shipments of weapons of mass destruction and to help destroy conventional weapons stockpiles. The legislation became law last year. To demean that accomplishment would be to also demean the work of Republican Sen. Richard Lugar of Indiana, a respected foreign policy voice in the Senate. In Illinois, he was the leader on two big, contentious measures in Illinois: studying racial profiling by police and requiring recordings of interrogations in potential death penalty cases. He also successfully co-sponsored major ethics reform legislation.

Of course, what my enemies are (by happenstance, surely) missing is that Dick Lugar has a far more extensive record than that one measly bill, whereas Obama has little else to cling onto.

But hey, at least you tried, you partisan hacks.

(Thanks to Rusty, who helpfully points out that there is, conveniently, a dearth of fact-checking of Joe Biden's miserable dirge speech.)

Update: Here's a better look at the AP's lack of curiosity over Biden's speech.

I do have to add: I'm not sure I can fault them for it. I fell fast asleep within the first 2 seconds!

yeah, like my bass-buggy boat is just a bit more meager compared to the Queen Mary 2.

ummm.. if they were illegal, then shouldn't they already be intercepted?? And, I image that it wasn't just him on the Democrat side "working with" the Republicans on this legislation. What House? State or Congress?

Biden who? Didn't he die 10 years ago?
