The Ghost of Snapped Shot

Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.

Fairfax to Dumfries, via Washington and Ashburn

With as much time as I've spent on the road today, I could've been to Richmond and back. But hey, that's all part of what life in the fast lane (a/k/a Being a Beltway Bandit, The Musical!) is all about.

Of course, this means I'm way way waaaaaay behind on what's going on today. If any of y'all want to fill me in, please feel free to do so down yonder—Or, if you don't want to do that, you can always share your commuting horror stories with the rest of the class.

Worst one I ever saw was a guy who commuted from Richmond to Tyson's Corner every day. Go think about that some next time you look at a map of the Eastern seaboard!

Great blog!

As a mil blogger, do you know about Digital Veterans Day, Nov 11? Check it out: http://open.mytbwa.com/emails/MyVetwork%20DVD%20Invite/DVD_Invite_mail-alt.html and let me know if you want to take part. If you can’t join in person but have a webcam, I can add your name/email address to “satellite” participants who’ll be sent a Digital Veterans Day “toolkit” prior to Nov 11. All free, brought to you by MyVetwork (community.myvetwork.com), to help the US military community.

Thanks, Jay, MyVetwork, 212-452-4800

At least you get to go through some parks.

I have a 100-mile round trip each and every day. From Northwest Baltimore City to Glen Echo.

I get the bad traffic of the Baltimore beltway, I-95 or Rt 29, and the Washington, DC beltway.

Been doing this since 1984. Yuck!
