Shocka: AP Reveals Murder of Christians; AFP Doesn't

I know.  I was shocked too.  The crAP media outlet actually goes out and prints the truth of the slaughter of christian women and children.  The AFP doesn't feel it news worthy to note the religious-based massacre of christians.

Here is the AFP version of the story from Yahoo News:

JOS, Nigeria (AFP) – Nigeria's acting president put security forces on alert after machete wielding gangs massacred at least 100 people, mainly women and children, near the central city of Jos, officials said.

Witnesses described how victims were caught in animal traps and fishing nets as they tried to flee their attackers, who hacked them to death in what appeared to have been a well-organised attack.

"Over a hundred people have been killed -- most of them women and children
," said a government official Sunday, speaking on condition of anonymity.

"Some of the children are less than one year old," he added.

But the raiders also set fire to dozens of houses in the nearby villages of Ratsat and Zot, all less than 10 kilometres (seven miles) from Jos and home to members of the Berom ethnic group.

"These villages were attacked by Fulani herdsmen killing scores of people and burning houses," Ratsat resident David Daniel Daniel told AFP.

Other residents and local rights activists also blamed the attacks on the Fulani ethnic group.

Please click on to second page:  And if that wasn't enough banality, let's go in the generalities.

Parts of Jos and its environs are still under a dusk-to-dawn curfew since the January religious clashes.

This central region of Nigeria had been a regular ethnic and religious flashpoint.

Ok.  So this is just a basic "regular" and on-going clash among some religious clash.  I guess we are to forget they slaughtered women and babies trapping them in animal traps and nets while trying to flee.

However, let's compare the AFP story to that of the crAP's.  I thank Sweetness-n-Light for bringing us the truth.

JOS, Nigeria – More than 200 bodies — many of them women and children — lay in the streets of a central Nigerian town after a renewed spate of Christian-Muslim violence, witnesses said Sunday, just months after religious violence tore through a nearby city and left hundreds dead.

Yemi Kosoko, a reporter with the independent Nigerian news network Channels, told The Associated Press most of the bodies appeared to be women and children killed by blows from machetes. Kosoko said the dead lined the streets of Dogo Nahawa, a village about three miles (five kilometers) south of the city of Jos…

Witnesses said the violence began in the mostly Christian village at about 3 a.m. Sunday — an hour when the area should have been under curfew and guarded by the military.
....
"It appears to be reprisal attacks," Waubo said…

As SnL says:

Ever notice how when these Muslims kill Christians in Nigeria it is always characterized as a “reprisal” by our watchdog media?

When will all the violent Christians across the world learn to leave the poor peaceable Muslims alone?

When will Nigeria enact Hate-Crimes legislation?  That would put an end to these generic traditional and common-place killings?  Nothing stops hate and killing like a Hate-Crimes law.

[UPDATE:]  Ace has updated news that the Nigerian troops caught 95 suspects and have found up to 500 dead over 3 towns.   Yep, like Ace says, just a typical cattle-range war.

I saw this yesterday too.  The Ministry of Truth (aka BBC) didn't identify anybody either.
