The Ghost of Snapped Shot

Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.

Liberal Media Finally Has Their "Christian" Terrorist. Well, Not Quite!

The cr(AP) gleefully touts their findings in the title of their hit-piece of the century.

'Christian warriors' allegedly plotted attack on cops

The MSM finally has their "Christian" terrorists that they can point to in order to say that all religions have their terrorists.  They can now say that all religions have their violent components.

Note how eager they are to tout the "christian" ties with this group.

DETROIT – Nine suspects tied to a Christian militia that was preparing for the Antichrist were charged with conspiring to kill police officers, then kill scores more by attacking a funeral using homemade bombs, federal prosecutors said Monday.

The Michigan-based group, called Hutaree, planned to use the attack on police as a catalyst for a larger uprising against the government,...

Yeah, except.  Being a conservative Christian who is a devout evangelical who studies the bible and even bible prophecy, I do not recognize these people as Christians.  These are just fanatics, retards, wannabes, and your basic home-grown terrorists.

Click on for my evidence that I pulled from the cr(AP) article itself. Note here:

Members of the group, including its leader, David Brian Stone, also known as "Captain Hutaree," were charged following FBI raids over the weekend on locations in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.

Stone's ex-wife, Donna Stone, told The Associated Press before the arraignments ... "It started out as a Christian thing," said Donna Stone, 44. "You go to church. You pray. You take care of your family. I think David started to take it a little too far."

According to the indictment, the group had been meeting and conducting military-style training exercises in the Michigan woods since 2008 to prepare for an impending war with its enemies. Members practiced building and detonating explosives and shooting firearms and built storage bunkers, investigators said.

No member of a Christian organization would call its leader "Captain".   It would be Father or Lord, or Bishop, or Leader..... something.  But not something that denotes military or back-woods terrorism.

Also, even his own ex-wife says that it went far beyond what you'd think of Christian religion would be.  Christians don't use explosives to impress upon people the need to save their souls.  Christians don't use guns to show people how much the Lord Jesus loves them.

The group says on its Web site that Hutaree means "Christian warrior" and describes the word as part of a secret language that few are privileged to know. The group quotes several Bible passages and states: "We believe that one day, as prophecy says, there will be an Anti-Christ. ... Jesus wanted us to be ready to defend ourselves using the sword and stay alive using equipment."

According to investigators, the Hutaree view local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel as a "brotherhood" and an enemy, and planned to attack them as part of an armed struggle against the U.S. government.

The idea of attacking a police funeral was one of numerous scenarios discussed as ways to go after law enforcement officers, the indictment said.

Once other officers gathered for a slain officer's funeral, the group planned to detonate homemade bombs at the funeral, killing scores more, according to the indictment.

The indictment says members of the group conspired "to levy war against the United States, (and) to oppose by force the authority of the government of the United States."

Yeah.  Not very Christian-like.  You see, Christians believe in the bible.  To them, the bible tells them to honor their government.  It tells them to honor they neighbor and to not kill out of malice, hate, or spite.

Christian groups do not meet on Sunday over their picnic BBQs to discuss ways to murder their local police officers.

This group is no way a "Christian" military group.  There is no such thing.

While the MSM may be all a giddy right now with having found what they think are their Islamic terrorist compatriots in the Christian religion, I hate to tell them this, but....

Well, not quite.

I was listening to the news most of today, and every report included "Christian" when describing the militia. One report made a point of how the U.S. Governemnt is very concerned about "Right-wing" militias.

Meanwhile, in Russia, two female suicide bombers blew themselves up on a subway killing 40 people. I had to get on the internet to confirm what I already knew - they were muslims.

Oh, but DMartyr, those were just Chechnyan "rebels".  They have been repressed and depressed.
