Seems the good and honorable Congressman has come out and apologized. Sort-of. Well, mainly he blames the irate, intrusive and partisan private person on a public sidewalk.

Throughout my many years of service to the people of North Carolina, I have always tried to treat people from all viewpoints with respect.
