Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.

NASA: Nothing Anything to do with Space Anymore

Via Powerline Blog comes word that once again we have Obama to thank for refocusing our national efforts to where it rightly belongs.

...Charles Bolden, head of NASA, tells Al Jazeera that the "foremost" task President Obama has given him is "to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with predominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering." Thus, NASA's primary mission is no longer to enhance American science and engineering or to explore space, but to boost the self-esteem of "predominantly Muslim nations."

Am glad that Obama has made us aware that our imputent exploration of space has made our muslim bretheren ashamed of us.

Am glad that is being rectified.

[UPDATEGateway Pundit has Krauthammer's take on all this "group therapy" vision by our president.

[UPDATE2] Preston Taylor Holmes has posted 6MB's take on this unique circumstance.  If NASA were to take up this new role, then I can't disagree more with PTH's idea.

Just go ahead and shut down NASA. It’s a lost cause. Hey, while your at it, shut down the rest of the Federal government. It’s even more of a lost cause.
