Dude, quit pointing at his ears! You know Obama is sensitive.
Governor Rick Perry of Texas has been actually denied a visit with the president when Obama comes to Fort Bliss in Texas on Tuesday. He wanted again to speak with the president on immigration and border security issues. Once again, Pres "transparency and openeness" Obama declined his request. And his office isn't answering any questions about it either.
A governor's spokeswoman says Gov. Rick Perry has been denied a meeting with President Barack Obama when the president visits Fort Bliss on Tuesday.
Perry spokeswoman Katherine Cesinger says the Republican governor had asked to meet with the president on Tuesday to discuss border security.
Perry was one of the first people the president saw when he stepped from Air Force One during an Austin visit on Aug. 9. On that occasion, Perry hand-delivered a letter to Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, warning about the "dire threat" from drug violence along the U.S.-Mexico border.
You may recall it was a month ago that Gov Perry tried to hand Obama an official letter requesting assistance in the fight over illegal immigration and cross-border security. But Obama refused to accept it forcing Perry to hand it over to Obama's "assistant" Valerie Jarrett.
Just this weekend, another shootout with armed Mexicans who shot at our Border Patrol after a drug runner was chased and he swam back to Mexico. After officers found his truck full of drugs, many armed people on Mexico's side of the Rio Grande started firing at the Border Patrol.
