Instead Of Focusing On External Issues Focus On Those Inside Your Own Faith

"It's Not Happening!  It's Not Happening!  It Ain't True!"

You know, some argue and gripe that the moderate muslims are not doing enough to fight against the radicals in their party.  We are told that they are either afraid to do so or are doing all that they can.

Yet, we are harassed for our uncomfortableness over the proposed construction of the Ground Zero Mosque.  For it, we are called Islamophobic.  We hear a few "moderates" proclaim that the mosque is wrong, but they have limited play time on limited stations.

And then, I think some of these "moderates" spend too much time focused on the wrong people or just plunk their head and the sand and demand that it is not true or all lies.

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – Despite the smells of fried dough and roasted meat wafting from the Minnesota State Fair, Salim and Zuleyha Ozonder were focused on the people who were leaving, not the food or festivities beckoning from across the street.

Each time a new wave of people exited, the young Minneapolis residents — who hadn't eaten all day — tried to press into their hands a small, glossy card that read "Islam Explained" on one side. On the other, it had about 180 words of background on a religion whose adherents fear is being misunderstood by too many Americans as violent and depraved.

"You just want people to take the card, spend a minute reading it and say, 'Oh. They're not terrorists,'" said 27-year-old Zuleyha.
...
But volunteers with the Minnesota chapter of Islamic Circle of North America saw the mostly white, Christian fair crowd as just the type of audience that might benefit from greater understanding.

Instead of trying to change America's mind over the depraved minds of some adherents to your religion, a religion that was responsible for our Global War On Terror, the two attacks on the World Trade Center, and countless bombings and attacks against non-muslims the world over, how about trying to change the hearts and minds of the radical element inside your religion?

Such as this nut job.  And since he is a Cleric, he holds sway over alot of adherents.

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – A well-known Australian Muslim cleric has called for the beheading of Dutch anti-Islamic politician Geert Wilders, a newspaper said on Friday.

De Telegraaf, the Netherlands' largest newspaper, led its front page on Friday with a story on the speech by Feiz Muhammad.

The Sydney-born Muhammad has gained notoriety for, among other things, calling on young children to be radicalized and blaming rape victims for their own attacks.

The paper posted an English-language audio clip in which he refers to Wilders as "this Satan, this devil, this politician in Holland" and explains that anyone who talks about Islam like Wilders does should be executed by beheading.

So, who are we to believe?  Are we to believe a very small number of people handing out cards to fair-goers claiming that THEY and their religion are not violent and depraved, or the images we see on TV or the stories we read in the media and internet?

I think part of the problem is that many American muslims are not made aware of what their bretheren are doing and what they believe their religion is telling them to do.  Maybe they should, in the very least, visit Small Dead Animals and see this video..

Please watch the video.  It WILL make you cry.  It WILL remind you what is a muslim terrorist.

...or read this article from the same SDA link.  You will then know what ATROCITIES means.  I dare you to read that article.  I dare you to open your eyes.

Are they even aware of Iran's version of Islam that believes in utterly subduing women?  This version of Islam believes in stoning a woman over someone else publicizing a picture of her that turned out to be not be her.  Another women will be executed for "warring against god" because of her fight for women's rights in Iran.

When you ask an American muslim if their religion preaches hate of non-muslims, advocates the killing of non-muslims, or if there is terror being committed by muslims in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, etc.... they just look at you like you have lost your ever-lovin' mind.  They tell you it is all lies.

Take for example Victoria Jackson's experience asking muslim cabbies in D.C. about their religion.  I think her final paragraph is very telling and one very hard to gloss over by the "moderates".

I think it is high time that we educate American muslims to what their bretheren are doing in their name.  Change in a religion can only come about from those on the inside.   It is up to the "moderate" muslims to force the radical elements within Islam to either change or get out.

[UPDATE]  Here is a 6 part Fox News Investigative Special on the Islamic radicals own words.  This was done in 2007 and even has an interview with the GZM Imam Rauf.

Here is an example of the "head-in-sand" mentality. The GZM Imam, Rauf. actually denies what he was shown by the Fox News presenter. He blames political developments in the regions for the hate message.

Even when the message is all about martyrdom for allah, cartoons glorifying death and hatred of Jews and Christians, it's just a result of a political impulse.  So, he is saying that the imams and mosque preachers are political people?

I believe he may be stumbling here.  As we all know, Islam is a combination of political and religious power.  Thus, the preachers are part of the political process since their political leaders are their religious class.  Thus, by saying that this rhetoric of hate and death is just politics, he admits then it is part of the religion.

He then compares muslim radicals to current Christians.  According to this guy, we are all alike and its only the politics that separate us.

After listening to him, I don't think he has his head in the sand, I think he knows full well what radical Islam is all about and his mission is in public relations.  To make the rest of the world softer, to hold back from attacking Islam for just a bit longer so that Islam can get a broader foothold upon our society.

Muslims passing out literature at a festival?

Wait... Didn't Acts17Apologetics get ARRESTED for doing the same thing at a arab festival?

One thing people need to remember about muslims protesting...

They are perfectly capable of organizing mass protests on a moments notice. We've seen it, when they are offended by cartoons or speeches or other perceived offenses. But why can they never seem to find the time to protest islamic terrorism or islamic injustices and cruelties?

Because the quran and the hadiths prevent them from protesting such things, that's why.

First, the quran states *muhammad* is the example the should follow if they wish to reach paradise. He is considered a perfect man. Now, if we go into the authentic hadiths, we find muhammad was extremely brutal and cruel, often to innocent people whose "crime" was nothing more than to reject his claim of prophethood.

Second, muhammad once stated, in the hadith, "Silence is consent."

"Moderate" muslims cannot object to conduct that muhammad himself performed. By doing so, they would be rejecting muhammad as a perfect man. "Moderate" muslims also do not have to show consent for any islamic behavior, even terrorism, because by simply remaining silent about it, they are showing support and consent.

There may be a very small handful of muslims who do oppose islamic terrorism and muslim hypocrisy, and there may be a very small segment who fear standing against those things. But then, that makes them such a small minority that it becomes clear a majority of muslims do support, condone, and consent to radical islamic ideology.

And in the West, fear is no excuse. There is no punishment for standing up against extremism. Christians have no problems standing up to radicals, why would muslims have problems? Unless, their punishment comes from within their own islamic communities, which then only confirms who the mnorities are and who the majorities are.
