The photo above, taken by Reuters stringer Mohammed Salem, tells me all I need to know about the media's commitment to human rights. Here we have a terrorist group that's openly committed to the destruction of the Jewish race—which is the definition of "genocide" last I checked—and the press blithely and obediently shows up every single time they're asked, ready to take one glamorous photo after another.
Imagine how different the coverage of World War II would have been if it were covered by the "professional" journalists of today.
Members of Palestinian armed factions, including members of Hamas, take part in a news conference to demonstrate their opposition to Israeli-Palestinian negotiations in Washington, in Gaza City September 2, 2010. Hamas said on Thursday its militants would keep on attacking Israelis and denounced peace talks between Israel and the West Bank-based Palestinian government which have taken place in Washington.
