Hello. I am your Democrat Party. Listen to ME. Re-elect me even though I have ruined your lives. Don't listen to "them" tell you it was our fault you are unemployed and homeless. We just couldn't tell you how we made unemployment good and fun for you.
You have got to love it, or hate it depending on point of view, that the Socialist Democrats have ruined this economy so bad, have destroyed our favor around the world so bad, have eliminated our strong restrictive presence against eveil so bad, and have so thoroughly destroyed what it means to be America, that even the LIBERAL media won't tote their water for them any more.
A quick look through the Drudge Report this morning finds alot of ammunition against keeping any Democrat. Ever again.
Let's start off with this tidbit from Pelosi to start this ball rolling:
From The Hill comes this interview with Pelosi:
Democrats haven't necessarily gotten the credit they're due for the work they've done the last two years, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said.
Pelosi, in the middle of a tough campaign to defend Democrats' majority in the House — as well as her own Speakership — seemed to echo a complaint voiced by other Democrats, that obstacles have made it difficult for the party's message to get through.
"You have all those forces at work, pouring millions of millions of dollars into the media, and now into the campaigns to mischaracterize everything that we did," Pelosi said in an interview with Politics Daily, video of which was posted Monday. "So that's that. It's up to us to go out there. I'm very confident; our members know why they voted for what they did.
"But you're right, we haven't really gotten the credit for what we have done,..." the Speaker added.
Aaawwwww. Cry me a river! She can't get respect for all the crap and Socialist takeover policies that she and her little minions have enacted over these last, not 2 years, but 4 years. She complains that the Republican party has been talking about her accomplishments as well, but not in a favorable light. AAAAWWWWW!!!
SHUT UP YOU!!!
Let's see exactly what you are asking R.E.S.P.E.C.T. for.
When Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) gave her inaugural address as speaker of the House in 2007, she vowed there would be “no new deficit spending.” Since that day, the national debt has increased by $5 trillion, according to the U.S. Treasury Department.
"After years of historic deficits, this 110th Congress will commit itself to a higher standard: Pay as you go, no new deficit spending,” Pelosi said in her speech from the speaker’s podium. “Our new America will provide unlimited opportunity for future generations, not burden them with mountains of debt."
Yeah, how'd that work out for you? I'm not asking Pelosi this, I'm asking you the American voter that question. How'd that promise to you work out? Are you better off economically? Are you happy now that your grandkids are going to be taxed on what you allowed to happen under Nancy Pelosi's and Harry Reid's term in Congress?
Are you going to hold them accountable?!!?
We now have a total deficit of $13 TRILLION dollars that will take decades to pay off if continue down this Socialistic path - crushing our economy and our country. Literally.
Next up is this little gem about our dollar:
The dollar's slump could get far worse if the dollar index takes out last year's low, Robin Griffiths, technical strategist at Cazenove Capital, told CNBC Monday.
"If the (dollar index) takes out the low that was made roughly a year ago I really think that will not only encourage more sales, it will cause a little bit of minor panic," Griffiths said. "A year ago it was deemed too cheap, if it goes any lower than that it's actually become toxic waste."
The dollar resumed its recent downtrend Monday in the wake of a meeting of finance ministers from the Group of 20 nations at the weekend. The meeting failed to yield a definitive agreement on currencies, putting selling pressure on the greenback.
"The dollar is being trashed, we've actually had effectively devaluation of about 14 percent in the last two months," Griffiths said.
Now there is something Pelosi and her fellow Socialists deserve almost total respect for. Their policies over the last few decades have created this travesty we find ourselves in now. Their lax and illegal business practices have completely undermined our financial system and now..... the chickens have come home to roost.
Are you going to hold them accountable?!!?
Oh, and about that transparent and open administration......
The late Bloomberg News reporter Mark Pittman asked the U.S. Treasury in January 2009 to identify $301 billion of securities owned by Citigroup Inc. that the government had agreed to guarantee. He made the request on the grounds that taxpayers ought to know how their money was being used.
More than 20 months later, after saying at least five times that a response was imminent, Treasury officials responded with 560 pages of printed-out e-mails -- none of which Pittman requested. They were so heavily redacted that most of what’s left are everyday messages such as “Did you just try to call me?” and “Monday will be a busy day!”
None of the documents answers Pittman’s request for “records sufficient to show the names of the relevant securities” or the dates and terms of the guarantees. Even so, the U.S. government considers the collection of e-mails a partial response to an official request under the federal Freedom of Information Act, or FOIA.
So, the government bailed out Citigroup, again I think, and tried to keep it a secret. Interesting. And when a reporter tried to access that "open and transparent" veil, he met a huge brickwall filled with mines and flame-throwers. The Socialists Democrats lied and are continuing to throw away your money to protect their own interests.
Are you going to hold them accountable?!!?
And now, even fellow Democrats candidates are starting to see their Democrat party in a new light. Their party, like the Republican party, are just for holding on to the old guard. Protect the power base, while ignoring new blood with new ideas.
Rhode Island gubernatorial candidate Frank Caprio, in a radio interview Monday morning, reacted angrily to President Obama's decision not to endorse him during a visit to the Ocean State Monday.
"He can take his endorsement and really shove it as far as I'm concerned," Caprio told talk-show host John DePetro during an interview on WPRO-AM.
In Monday morning's Providence Journal, John Mulligan of The Journal's Washington bureau reported that Mr. Obama would not endorse Democrat Caprio during a visit to Rhode Island Monday.
Mulligan quoted independent candidate Lincoln Chafee's spokesman saying Obama's decision "is a victory for Linc Chafee," who is one of Caprio's opponents in the race for governor.
Former Republican Senator Chafee endorsed Mr. Obama for president in 2008.
Tell me people, how much is it going to take before you wake up to the destruction of our country. Do you really think bankers are destroying this country? If so, then why did Obama and his ilk bail them out? If that is a corrallary, then would it not be true to say that General Motors and Dodge are also out to destroy this nation since they too were "bailed out"?
How can the so-called rich in this nation destroy us? They are only a small fraction of this country and yet pay more than 80% of all taxes.
THEY ARE THE ONES STILL SUPPORTING THIS NATION!!!!!!!
Time is coming to take your stand. Without America, the world would still be in the Dark Ages - overun the French, the Spaniards and the Moors. Stand up for the sake of this world. Stand up for freedom. Stand up for yourself. Stand up for your country.
[UPDATE] If you continue to elect Democrats, say good-bye to many of your tax-breaks and pre-tax benefits.
At stake, in addition to the mortgage-interest deductions, are child tax credits and the ability of employees to pay their portion of their health-insurance tab with pretax dollars. Commission officials are expected to look at preserving these breaks but at a lower level, according to people familiar with the matter.
Sacrosanct tax breaks, including deductions on mortgage interest, remain
on the table just weeks before the deficit commission issues
recommendations on policies to pare back with the aim of balancing the
budget by 2015.
The tax benefits are hugely popular with the public but they have drawn
the panel's focus, in part because the White House has said these and
other breaks cost the government about $1 trillion a year.
The officials are also looking at potential cuts to defense spending and a freeze on domestic discretionary spending.
