The Ghost of Snapped Shot

Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.

Another Fotoglif Test

Here's a test of a Drupal module for the excellent fotoglif service. If all goes well, it will be available on before too long... (Well, that's if it actually works, that is.)

[fotoglif image="xjzxdr0mv2cg" pub="wb9yo9r5zuqc" width="468" caption="Benghazi, Libya, - March 02, 2011. A Libyan opposition forces fighter manages a mobile anti-aircraft gun in the city of Ajdabiya,160kms west of Benghazi, Libya on March 2, 2011. Gadhafi warned the West against intervening in the rebellion against his rule. UPI/Mohamaad Hosam" creator="Mohamaad Hosam/ UPI/ Fotoglif" align=""]

Update: The good news is that the core module works great, aside from some formatting issues with the caption. The next step is to see how open fotoglif is to presenting embeddable tokens like the one I created here to their users. If they'll allow it, that will open up more than just a piddly little Drupal module—the basic concept will work just as easily with WordPress, MovableType, Serendipity, and just about any other blog platform you can think of.

So stay tuned—I'm hoping that this will turn out to be a Very Good Thing for those of us poor bloggers who are looking to add safely licensable content like this to our sites!
