I was reading Michelle Malkin Monday night while nearly dropping off to sleep form the lousy new CSI: Miami show. (yeah, I know). Anyway, I caught this post of hers. She was talking about how evil and corrupt SEIU's union president is.

She then has a flashback from her book "Culture of Corruption". She uses passages from her book to highlight how unions, and Stern in general, are pushing corruption and takeover of American freedoms. Here is something from her post caught my eye.

Andy Stern rallied the Illinois delegation to the 2008 Democratic National Convention in August 2008 with an impassioned salute to the working man. Flanking Stern on stage at the Denver celebration: Chicago political machine kingpins Rahm Emanuel and Richard Daley. Stern roared about “rebalancing power between wealth and work” to “make sure everyone shares in the wealth of a growing economy.” Echoing Obama’s 2007 speech to the SEIU political action conference, union boss Stern condemned the old way of doing business and called on American to “turn the page” on behalf of hard-working Americans and their families.

Now, jump ahead to Pres Obama's speech to the AFL-CIO (union) at the AFL-CIO National Convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 15, 2009.

And the fundamental test of our time is whether we will heed this lesson; whether we will let America become a nation of the very rich and the very poor, of the haves and the have-nots; or whether we will remain true to the promise of this country and build a future where the success of all of us is built on the success of each of us.

That's the future I want to build. That's the future the AFL-CIO wants to build. That's the future the American people want to build. And that's the future we've been working to build from the moment I took office.

Ring a bell? Is he just spouting the same line his union buddies are? Or, is he just another union thug pressuring for change.

Difference is, this thug has the power now to enact his version of ... change.

Or when the truth becomes apparent.

Sen Max Baucus introduced his version of the Health Reform Bill. No one liked it. Not even the Socialist Democrats. They claimed that it didn't take over enough of the health care from individual citizens. Weak rhino Republicans didn't like it because it was not their bill.

It would seem, that Sen Baucus' intention to create a happy medium of a bill has now failed. He has succumbed to pressure from the Obama Democrats. Or, did the real version of the bill get out.

The chairman of the Senate Finance Committee was revising his sweeping health care bill Monday to address serious concerns from fellow Democrats and a key Republican about insurance costs, part of his ongoing struggle to deliver on President Barack Obama's top domestic priority.

Yeah, who sold out? Or, who came out of their shell?

That's right, after the election instead of just being honest upfront, Barack Hussein Obama will attempt to lower the expectations of his millions of minions, who through plain stupidity have come to believe his empty rhetoric. "Hope" and "change" will become "dream on" and "you believed all that crap?"

Barack Obama's senior advisers have drawn up plans to lower expectations for his presidency if he wins next week's election, amid concerns that many of his euphoric supporters are harboring unrealistic hopes of what he can achieve.

The sudden financial crisis and the prospect of a deep and painful recession have increased the urgency inside the Obama team to bring people down to earth, after a campaign in which his soaring rhetoric and promises of "hope" and "change" are now confronted with the reality of a stricken economy.

Some Obamessiah followers will still praise "The One." After all, he is the first black man to become President. It doesn't matter if he's inexperienced or incompetent or even if, through his arrogance, he sends America spiraling into a pit of whimpering appeasement and economic devastation. They showed da man!

Other Obamessiah followers will realize - too late - as historical as it would be to have a minority President leading the (once) greatest country on earth, it was a Pyrrhic victory, as best.

Most, I think, will learn an incredible lesson about politics and how it affects our everyday lives, no matter how far away Washington, D.C. seems to be.

Be careful what you wish for. You might just get it.

Philip Berg has filed for a default win in his case against Barack Hussein [no response] Obama. According to Berg, Obama's failure to respond in a timely manner amounts to an admission of guilt.

Obama could have avoided this entire issue by simply providing his original birth certificate to prove he is constitutionally qualified to run for the office of U.S. President. Instead, his attorneys have tried to have the case dismissed.

This action only begs the question: What is Barack Hussein Obama hiding?

Even more disturbing is the lack of concern by American voters. To toss aside one constitutional provision is a blatant sign of disrespect to the entire Constitution. What will it profit America to gain the whole world, if it loses its soul in the process?
